BVB recent announced the band’s sixth studio album The Phantom Tomorrow and their successful Acoustour for US radio, Los Angeles rockers Black Veil Brides are announcing their next global virtual experience Unplugged – the band’s final streaming event of 2021. Recorded live in Los Angeles at the Den Studios, Unplugged will offer an in-depth look at the stories behind the songs from every part of Black Veil Brides’ catalog. Radio hits and fan favorites comprise the setlist for and even the song “Vale (This Is Where It Ends)” from the band’s fifth studio album – which has never been performed live – makes an appearance at the acoustic event.

The band just dropped two more singles – “Confessions Of A Dopamine Addict” and “Wrath” which you can check out below. CLASSIC ALBUMS REVISITED: Between the Buried and Me – Alaska
I assume it’s easy to look back at the aughts and be dismissive of the entire decade particularly from the perspective of metal or punk fan. Nu-Metal was slowly being phased out as any goodwill from the previous decade had eroded and acts like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte made everyone realize that maybe the idea of Pop-Punk was a mistake. But those who kept their ear close to the ground knew better than to become jaded. Hard rock was alive and well and young bands were doing very exciting things. Young bands like Between the Buried and Me with their seminal Alaska (Victory Records 2005/Craft Recordings 2020).

Sumerian Films, the offshoot film company of Sumerian Records served up a free treat of a limited stream of their film American Satan. The popular genre film starring Andy Black and Ben Bruce of Black Veil Brides and directed by Sumerian owner Ash Avildsen debuted in 2017. The film was streamed free for a limited-time event, but it’s down now. What is still free to watch is the amazing after watch Q & A with Ash, Black, Bruce and presenter, and VJ Matt Pinfield.
