The Nowhere Generation Tour rolled into Worcester, MA with Pennywise and Stick To Your Guns and I’ve had tickets to see Rise Against four separate times in my life, and every time I’ve had to bail last minute, this show has been a long time coming. This night of the tour was the first of the tour for Jim Lindberg and the rest of the boys in Pennywise and Stick To Your Guns, so needless to say, the energy of the show was through the roof from the jump!
Parkway Drive has booked their return headline dates in the USA! The tour will feature direct support from The Black Dahlia Murder, Hatebreed, and Stick To Your Guns! Best of all the band is bringing their legendary full concert staging, with full pyro to the US for the first time ever. The tour kicks off in Baltimore this May and ends in San Francisco. Sad news 2000trees – home to Punk and alt-Rock legends every summer is postponed for 2021. The fest gave a lengthy statement to fans as to why the fest cannot take place this year, mainly due to the protracted shutdown, and pandemic. On the plus side, the fest will return for 2022 and the new dates will be 7th, 8th and 9th July 2022. Bands confirmed to return in 2022 include Jimmy Eat World, Thrice, The Amazons, Dinosaur Pile Up, Knocked Loose, The Get Up Kids, Dream State, Laura Jane Grace, Anti-Flag, Lonely The Brave, Stick To Your Guns, Deez Nuts, No Devotion, Dragged Under with a third headliner to be announced and over 100 more bands across six stages.
Hardcore band Stick To Your Guns have announced a new unplugged EP, The Meaning Remains, due out on February 18 Via Pure Noise Records. The band has shared a new acoustic version of their popular song “Amber” and pre-orders for the EP is live. The EP even features a cover by the beloved 1980s pop classic “Take On Me” by A-Ha. Rock USA and its sister festival Country USA has been forced to cancel their 2020 events due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival, one of the biggest in the US, was to have celebrated its 10th-anniversary edition this summer, and was going to take place July 16-18 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Of the 40 bands and headliners and support acts included Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Rob Zombie (headlining for a 3rd straight year), Halestorm, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, Anthrax, Chevelle, Avtar, Feever333, Hellyeah, Steel Panther, Knocked Loose, Bad Wolves, Attila and more. Global Metalcore leaders Parkway Drive have booked a European tour for the spring ‘Viva The Underdogs – European Revolution 2020’ Arena Tour in April 2020. Direct support will come from Hatebreed, Stick To Your Guns and Venom Prison.
