IN MEMORIAM: Remembering Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder (1981-2022)
I’m not going to start this write-up and pretend like I have a solution for grief or that I’ve made peace with the fact that Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder is no longer with us. As of this writing, it’s been nearly a week since his passing and frankly, I’m still trying to process that. Telling myself that it can’t be true since I’ve seen Strnad and his bandmates have seemingly all the fun onstage at least seven times.
In time I’ll accept what has occurred. But let’s take a look back.

I pull up to the parking lot of the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. It’s been two years and a couple of months since the last time I was at one of these things. One 40 ounce of malt liquor is disposed of while sitting in a warm car as ice and rain pounds away on the roof. Must make my way inside and show no weakness. Jason Bittner Says a Shadows Fall Reunion Show is Booked for Later This Year
According to a report from Blabbermouth.net, in a new interview Jason Bitner intimated that Shadows Fall is coming back from hiatus and they intend to play at least one reunion show at The Worcester Palladium in 2021 to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band and 20 years since the addition of vocalist Brian Fair. Jason Bittner spoke to the “Who’s Your Band?” music podcast about the possibility of a reunion of SHADOWS FALL, the Massachusetts metal band originally formed 25 years ago.
