ALBUM REVIEW: Feuerschwanz – Todsünden


 

Exactly a year on from the release of Memento Mori (Napalm Records), German medieval folk metallers Feuerschwanz return with a collection of previously recorded cover versions. Releasing material lifted from bonus discs might seem a little superfluous to anyone without a tendency towards rampant completism but Todsünden is filled with surprising choices and no lack of creativity.

Rockharz Open Air has added a flurry of new bands for this July’s festival! Soilwork, Omnium Gatherum, Grave, Lordi, Visions Of Atlantis, Burning Witches, Combichrist, Elvellon, Hell Boulevard, J.B.O., Lacrimas Profundere, and Witt have joined the event. The fest already boasts  Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Saltatio Mortis, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Hypocrisy, Epica, DragonForce, Wintersun, Korpiklaani Overkill and many more! Rockharz Open Air will take place at Flugplatz Ballenstedt from July 3rd to July 6th, 2019. Metsatoll Added to 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise, More Bands To Be Announced

Estonian folk metallers Metsatoll have been added to the upcoming 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise, setting sail in less than a months time. As of now 46 of the 60 bands have been announced for the cruise, which is sold out but has a wait list that makes it possible to get a last-minute ticket. Continue reading
