FESTIVAL REVIEW: Exit 111 Festival 2019 – Manchester, Tennessee

Exit 111 Festival, aptly named for the highway exit in Manchester TN, made its début October 11-13, 2019. Arriving in powers of three, it was three days of riffs, rock, and rowdiness. One part Metal, one part Rock, one Southern rock, and a whole lot of nostalgia, the event hosted three stages: the Rise Above Stage (honored suicide awareness and featured many of the Classic rock/Southern rock acts), Heaven Stage (the main stage and home to the headliners), and Hell Stage (spotlighted mainly heavy artists).Continue reading →

The inaugural Exit 111 Festival takes place starting today at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee — the home of Bonnaroo — October 11 – 13. Ghost Cult is honored to be a part of this historic event! Headlined by Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard and Lynyrd Skynyrd, with appearances by Slayer, ZZ Top, Deftones, Megadeth, Mastodon, Coheed & Cambria, Blackberry Smoke, Ministry, Cheap Trick, Killswitch Engage, Seether, Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society and many more! Music fans, tattoo lovers and all kinds of awesomeness is set to collide at the Travis Barker’s (Blink 182) 9th Annual Musink Festival. Friday night’s music action kicks off at 3 PM and features none other than hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, playing for practically a hometown crowd. Joining him are Barker’s Transplants band and the sensational Yelawolf.

Saturday the fairgrounds open at noon for a full day of tats, contests, food and fun. Saturday is headlined by Deftones, who are gearing up for the release of their new album Gore (Warner Brothers). Joining them will be the always fun live Taking Back Sunday. Miss Musink will be crowned on the stage, and Plague Vendor will also play.

Sunday has another “pinch” me type bill with Circa Survive and the reunited Atreyu back to back! Face To Face is also playing so get your spot early and prepare to dance!
