I love a two band killer lineup show and a night of Boris playing Pink and Uniform opening is the literal definition of a killer night. NYC’s own Uniform opened things up at the Brooklyn Steel. Performing with only a single upward facing light from the stage floor setting the mood in the black abyss that was the crowd and every band member except the singer. I’ve been fortunate enough to see Uniform at least once a year for the past five years and they just keep getting better. The current lineup with two drummers and someone dedicated to the synths is a wonderful aural pummeling that I truly enjoy basking in.Continue reading
