Ozzy Osbourne Rebooks “No More Tours 2” with Judas Priest for 2022


Ozzy Osbourne has rescheduled previously postponed dates for the European leg of his “No More Tours 2”. Judas Priest will again be the opening act for all of the dates, except for one new date in Hungary, at the Budapest Arena. Fans should hold on to their tickets as they remain valid for all rescheduled tour dates, and refunds must be sought at the point of purchase. In an interview with Radio.com and reported by Blabbermnouth.net, Ozzy Osbourne reports that he has begun work on a new album with producer Andre w Watt. Watt wrote and produced Ozzy’s last album Ordinary Man (Epic Records) which was released earlier in 2020 and topped the Billboard charts worldwide.

Opeth Frontman Mikaël Åkerfeldt Pays Tribute to Lee Kerslake 


Opeth frontman Mikaël Åkerfeldt, paid tribute to legendary Heavy Metal drummer Lee Kerslake, who died this past weekend at age 73. In a post on social media, Akerfelt talked lovingly about Lee, less so for his work in Ozzy Osbourne’s Blizzard of Ozz band, but specifically for his work in Uriah Heap’s classic 1970s era, from which the Opeth leader draws considerable influence. Zakk Sabbath’s Black Sabbath Tribute Album Enters the Global Charts Without Streaming



Zakk Sabbath, led by Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne shredder Zakk Wylde, has an unlikely hit on their hands. Released by the great label Magnetic Eye, known for sick bands, tons of stoner doom original releases, and tribute albums, Vertigo, is a tribute to Black Sabbath’s historic debut album which invented heavy metal  and doom metal and turned 50 in 2019. The album, released only in physical versions and without online streams still ranked worldwide on the charts, due to physical sales (Deluxe CD vinyl). The label issued a statement on the release in light of charting., which you can see below. Zakk Sabbath also includes legends of rock and metal such as bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie), and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queen Of The Stone Age, Bloodclot),

Former Ozzy Osbourne and Uriah Heap Drummer Lee Kerslake Has Died, Age 73


Legendary Heavy Metal drummer Lee Kerslake, best known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and Uriah Heap, has died. He was just 73 years old.  In a post to social media Uriah Heap bassist and Lee’s friend, Ken Hensley commented: “It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I share with you that Lee Kerslake, my friend of 55 years and the best drummer I ever played with, lost his battle with cancer at 03:30 this morning,”. “He died peacefully, praise The Lord, but he will be terribly missed.”

Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”  and “Mr. Crowley” Both Hit New Milestones


As a result of streaming, two classic songs from Ozzy Osbourne have reached new sales milestones in the U.S. “Crazy Train” has been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America) on September 1 for accumulating four million certified units. That same day, “Mr. Crowley” was certified gold for accumulating half a million units. According to the RIAA, one equivalent song unit is equal to a single digital song sale, or 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams.
