Ozzfest Confirms a Return in 2027 for The United Kingdom and The USA

In a post to social media, Ozzfest has now confirmed that the reactivated heavy metal festival, founded by Sharon Osbourne and her late husband Ozzy in 1996, will return to the UK and the U.S.A. in 2027. The latest announcement, which was shared on the official Ozzfest social media earlier today (Monday, September 21), follows reports of a U.K. Ozzfest edition for 2027, which will take place at Villa Park, the home ground of the Aston Villa Football Club, in Ozzy’s original hometown of Birmingham, United Kingdom. The new Ozzfest teaser, which can be seen below, shows Ozzy with the Ozzfest logo as well as images of the U.K. and U.S. flags, accompanied by the brief message, “Ozzfest will come to the UK and US”. British Neo-Classic Rock band Green Lung perform the ultimate tribute to Black Sabbath and NWOBHM pioneers with Necropolitan, the latest from Nuclear Blast Records – and it’s a banger.

“Open the Helmouth” slowly brings you into the album, a spooky chant on slow riffs, building to “Dance to the Grave,” an upbeat Sabbath-esque rant against what AI and far-right technocrats are doing to us and the planet.
