We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. The fest takes place 13-15 June, 2025. This exciting news was revealed this evening at a special metal gala launch event in London.
Celebrating 40 years – Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals lineups have been revealed featuring Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, In Flames, Spiritbox, Lorna Shore, and more. Additional bands will be announced at a later date. Both festivals, which share artists throughout their runtime, will feature these acts across the same dates. Rock im Park is set for June 6th-8th at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg, Germany, while Rock am Ring will take place at the Nürburgring in Nürburg, Germany, on the same dates. The anticipated return of what many consider the most important traveling heavy music festival, Mayhem Festival, presented by Hit Parader and Live Nation, will take place in just under a week on Saturday, October 12 at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernadino, CA, where it began over 13 years ago. The fest features Bad Omens, Parkway Drive, Architects, Jinjer, August Burns Red, Throwdown, Poppy, Kittie, Suicide Silence, The festival is gearing things up and have revealed set times for the event.
To celebrate twenty-five years at the wheel, Slipknot brought the show back to Iowa for a one-day event at Water Works Park in the lovely midwestern town of Des Moines.
Knotfest Iowa is upon us. Today the globally renowned event has revealed its 2024 lineup including the hometown return of Slipknot, the festival’s headliner and founders. With a unique set drawing heavily from their 1999 debut, Slipknot will celebrate 25 years of the self-titled album along with their fans, in the band’s birthplace of Iowa. The band just played their first two shows with their new lineup in California outside of a small bar and at Sick New World Festival!
In addition to Slipknot, the fest features Till Lindemann from Rammstein, Kentucky’s vibrant hardcore/metal forerunners Knocked Loose, metalcore influencers Hatebreed and Poison The Well, heavy metal icons GWAR, Des Moines natives Vended, in addition to Dying Wish, Zulu, Twin Temple, Holy Wars, Swollen Teeth and Spine & Dose.
