Judas Priest Rebooks 50 Years of Judas Priest Tour Dates for Europe 2022 


Heavy Metal legends Judas Priest have rescheduled their previously postponed tour days supporting their 50 Years of Heavy Metal tour in Europe to summer 2022. The trek will now run from May 27, 2022 in Moscow, Russia until July 31, 2022 in Oberhausen, Germany. The band is still planning to perform at Bloodstock Open Air this August.

Inferno Festival Canceled for 2021, Dates for 2022 Announced


Sad news as the 2021 edition of the legendary extreme metal annual event Inferno Festival in Oslo, Norway has been canceled due to the ongoing  covid-19 outlook and restrictions this spring. The festival has put out a statement canceling, offering to roll over tickets and offer a refund period as well. Bands booked for 2021 that have reconfirmed for 2022 include Kreator, Mayhem, Venom, Ihsahn, Kampfar, Ved Buens Ende, Vreid, Cadaver, Myrkskog, Entombed AD, Asphyx, Benighted, Bølzer, Dark Fortress, Tulus, Whoredom Rife, Djerv, Hamferd, Dyscarnate, The Great Old Ones, 1914, Sylvaine, Asagraum, Nyrst, Isvind, From The Vastland, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, Nachash, Ulvehyrde, Kosmos Brenner, Sovereign, Gnida, Eridu, Zifir, Solbrud, Xenoblight, Oranssi Pazuzu. The UK Rejected a Post-Brexit Plan to Allow Musicians to Perform “Visa Free” from the EU


Despite the global pandemic destroying the livelihoods of millions of musicians and crew, the UK has rejected a proposal to allow artists to perform without paying the typically high work Visa fees. According to a report from The Independent. the policy is a direct result of Brexit and new policies springing up as a result. Many in the beleaguered music industry has fired back is calling this a “devastating blow” of them requiring permits.

Ticketek is The First Concert Ticket Company in The World to Let You Buy Now, Pay Later for Shows


According to the website MusicFeeds, Ticketek has become the first ticketing agency in the world to allow fans to purchase tickets upfront and pay for them later, known as Afterpay outside of America. This model might make sense in the new coronavirus realty where we are seeing tours and festivals canceled left and right, and the major ticketing agency in the world, Live Nation/Ticketmaster unclear about refunds for postponements. Ticketek’s parent company, TEG confirmed the news today that they’ll be integrating Afterpay into their website and their apps over the coming months, which allow payment up to 8 weeks after purchase.
