FESTIVAL REVIEW: RPM FEST 2022 – Live at Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club


RPM Fest… three days in the woods at Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club in Montague, Massachusetts of Western MA with all of the homies, great food, great drinks, yard games, drag bingo, metal yoga, karaoke, and more metal, punk, and ska music than you can shake a battle vest at. It’s been two years since RPM Fest happened due to the ongoing pandemic. But this year it was able to make its mighty return as the official end-of-summer send-off party that it is known to be, this past Labor Day Weekend.

Danny Wimmer Presents Announces Schedule for Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville, and Aftershock

The leading independent live entertainment producer and promoter Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the upcoming festival calendar for the year. The event lineup includes the return of fan favorites Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville, alongside the previously announced Aftershock,  and new to the DWP family, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Louder Than Life, the largest rock festival in America, will take place September 23-26, 2021 at  Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky and will be adding a  Thursday night celebration event to kick off the weekend. All current pass holders will receive  admission to the newly added Thursday night kickoff celebration for free.

Epicenter, Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple 2020 are Canceled, Coming Back in 2021


In a sad announcement, Danny Wimmer Presents has regretfully announced the cancellation of Epicenter, Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Festivals due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. They did announce that the fests will make a comeback in 2021. They are offering FULL Refunds and transfers for next year’s fests. The fall festivals should happen as usual and Metallica will now headline Thursday, September 17 at Louder Than Life.

Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville and Epicenter, Organizers are “Assessing the Situation Very Carefully”


With a rash of postponements and cancellations, Danny Wimmer Presents, the company that puts on North America’s largest commercial Rock and Metal fests Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville and Epicenter, is advising caution and still figuring out what do do with the upcoming editions of the popular spring festivals. A number of festivals have been canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Coachella and Stagecoach have been pushed to October, while South By Southwest was canceled. Epicenter Shares New Video for Their Track- “Counterweight”


New Hampshire metallers Epicenter are back with a new video and single and it absolutely rips. It seems as if the formerly crossover neo-Thrash band has injected some proggy Death Metal into their style along the lines of Revocation and Allegaeon, and the results are their new track “Counterweight”, which premiered over at Metal Injection. Mongolian “Hunnu Rock” band The Hu has added a bunch of festival dates to their spring schedule. Notably, they have joined the lineups for Sonic Temple, Welcome To Rockville, Epicenter and MMRBQ.
