Mastodon Shares New Single – “Sickle and Peace”


Prog metal masters Mastodon have shared a new single – “Sickle and Peace” – their third from their upcoming new album Hushed and Grim, due out October 29th, 2021 via Reprise Records. The new video for “Teardrinker” was directed and directed and edited by Lorenzo Diego Carrera for his company a YHELLOW Production. Comprised of fifteen tracks and dedicated to their late manager Nick John, Hushed and Grim is the first new Mastodon full-length studio album since 2017’s Emperor of Sand (Reprise). That album was Ghost Cult’s album of the year for 2017. Hushed and Grim was produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Rush, Muse, Peter Gabriel). Progressive hard rockers The Sixxis is streaming their brand new drum kit rundown video below. The band is the brainchild of lead singer Vladdy Iskhakov. Their digitally released new album Hollow Shrine is now available via Glassville Records, and was produced by three time Grammy winning producer David Bottrill at Goodwill Sound Studios. The band is currently on tour with Ministry across North America.

Johnny Wore Black Releases Walking Underwater Part 2 November 26th

Johnny Wore Black, the dark rock project featuring Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson, has made “Fallen Angel” available for streaming here. The album Walking Underwater Pt 2 is out November 26, 2014 via Dead Cherry, and was mixed by David Bottrill (Tool, Stone Sour).

The album also features Croatian singer Sara Renar, and renowned soul singer Loretta Heywood.
