As part of the digital rollout for their 25th anniversary edition of their 1999 self-titled debut, Slipknot have released a demo version of “Prosthetics.” The track is one of 59 bonus recordings featured in the deluxe set.

Slipknot have opened their vault for the 25th anniversary of their 1999 self-titled debut, revealing a huge new box version will sell out, and was curated by M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan. The set—pressed on “blood-filled” vinyl—is limited to just 100 copies worldwide and reportedly sold out instantly at $250 per set. Clocking in with 59 tracks total, the release digs deep into the band’s early days, including rare Indigo Ranch demos produced by Ross Robinson, alternate mixes, live cuts, and 40 previously unreleased recordings. Though Roadrunner Records had previously issued expanded editions, this new set was curated entirely by Clown, now dubbed the band’s “caretaker.” Their 1999 debut album—which went gold in early 2000, platinum by May, and now sits at 2x platinum—was commemorated heavily last year with a full 25th anniversary tour. Slipknot Will Finally Release Their Lost Album – “Look Outside Your Window” in 2024, New Documentary Also Incoming


As previously reported, Slipknot had recorded an as yet unreleased album Look Outside Your Window, recorded at the same time as All Hope Is Gone (Roadrunner Records). The record was created with the lineup of percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan, vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarist Jim Root, and DJ Sid Wilson. The band last teased the release of their lost album around Christmas Day 2019, but still remains unreleased as of now. In a new interview with NME, and reported by Metal Injection, Clown has shared, Slipknot will 100% release Look Outside Your Window in 2024. Officially Roadrunner Records and Slipknot’s deal ended on April 1, 2023. Slipknot released their controversial new album The End, So Far in 2022. As the band celebrates the 25th anniversary of their debut album Slipknot in 2024 with a tour and merch, there will also be a new documentary on the history of the band, directed by Clown, and released on several formats.

As previously reported, Slipknot had recorded an as yet unreleased album Look Outside Your Window, recorded at the same time as All Hope Is Gone (Roadrunner Records). The record was created with the lineup of percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan, vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarist Jim Root, and DJ Sid Wilson. The band last teased the release of their lost album around Christmas Day 2019, but still remains unaired. In a new interview with The Upshot, and reported by Metal Injection, Clown has shared,  Slipknot might release Look Outside Your Window shortly after their contract with Roadrunner Records officially ends on April 1. The record could release at any time after their deal is finished. Slipknot released their controversial new album The End, So Far in 2022.

Slipknot Teases New Music and Release Times on Social Media


Long in the works and highly anticipated for a late 2022 release, new Slipknot music is a given. Considering both Corey Taylor and Clown have been hyping it up for over a year, we know it is a matter of “when” not “if” we are getting to hear the next Knot album. Considering the next leg of the Knotfest Roadshow is booked for this fall and several Knotfest festival events are happening soon, this looks like new music is incoming, as soon as this week!
