Oathbreaker Stream New Single – “Ease Me”


Oathbreaker has returned with a new single ‘Ease Me’. Originally released as part of the Adult Swim “Metal Swim 2” compilation last year, ‘Ease Me’ has now been remixed and remastered, and will see a proper physical release in May via Deathwish Inc. The track has been remixed/reinterpreted by incredible artists Jesu, Chelsea Wolfe, WIFE, and Michael A. The music business is ugly, hard, and not for everyone. You hear this over and over from industry types and even some artists. Still, it’s hard to not pine for the days when record labels were really putting a priority on A & R (artist and repertoire), and nurturing tomorrow’s important groundbreaking artists. Sargent House is one of the few labels that allows talented people to find themselves over and over again. They release music that makes it easy to care and be passionate as fans. The Cure Books Pixies, Deftones, Mogwai, Throwing Muses, Chelsea Wolfe and More For Pasadena Daydream Festival


As we previously reported, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Cure are celebrating forty years as a band in 2019. In addition to tours and other festivities, the band has created their own one-day festival. Now we can reveal that The Cure’s “Pasadena Daydream” one-day festival will take place on August 31st and features a hand-picked selection of bands curated by Robert Smith personally. In addition to The Cure headlining, Pixies, Deftones, Mogwai, Throwing Muses, Chelsea Wolfe, The Twilight Sad, The Joy Formidable, and Emma Ruth Rundle will all appear. Tickets to the Pasadena Daydream go on sale May 17th at 12:00 p.m. PST via the festival’s website at the link below. They’re also releasing a new album, an appearance at the famed Sydney Opera house where they will perform Disintegration in full, two new films about the band, and also scheduled to headline Austin City Limits in October. Further US tour dates are expected in 2020.
