According to a report by Metalsucks, Dino Cazares has posted a snippet of him playing new Fear Facotry riffs over on his Twitter account. Cazares has been posting a lot on Twitter to stay in touch with his fans, while he presses forward on the new Fear Factory album, tentatively titled Regenerate and due out in 2021 from Nuclear Blast Records. No word yet from the guitar legend how the progress goes on replacing Burton C. Bell, who announced his departure from the group after thirty years last month.

Dino Cazares Says “Fear Factory is Alive and Well”, Appears on Robb Flynn’s Podcast
Dino Cazares has responded to the news of Burton C. Bell quitting Fear Factory in a series of Tweets and an appearance on Robb Flynn’s (Machine Head) podcast, No Fkn Regrets Podcast for an exclusive. Dino reports that “FF is alive and well”, the record with Bell is still coming out, and he is presently looking for a new singer. On the Flynn podcast, Dino confirmed he found out Burton quit from social media, that the door is open for Burton to return – to a point, tentatively the release of the new Fear Factory album is March 2021 via Nuclear Blast, the album is being mixed now by Andy Sneap, a deep details about the legal issues of the last few years, (reconfirming things he recently told Metalsucks), his personal history getting started in bands, and key points in Fear Factory History. Despite the ugliness, it sounds like Dino is gonna be alright. The band celebrated the 25th anniversary of their classic second album, Demanufacture (Roadrunner) this year. Burton C. Bell Quits Fear Factory
Following the back and forth in the press between himself and Fear Factory co-founder Dino Cazares, Burton C. Bell announced his departure from the band after thirty-plus years. Bell posted a statement to his official website which you can read below. Bell is releasing his new album with his band Ascension of The Watchers soon on October 9th, 2020. Black Sabbath Bassist Geezer Butler’s Three 1990s Solo Albums Are Getting Reissued
All three of Geezer Butler’s 1990s solo albums apart from Black Sabbath reunions are getting reissued. Plastic Planet (1995), Black Science (1997), and Ohmwork (2005) will be avaialble on vinyl for the first time ever, with both CD and LP using newly updated cover artwork and all will be available via BMG on October 30. Plastic Planet featured Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell, with its incendiary single “Drive Boy Shooting,” and is considered a highlight of that time. Fear Factory Launches a GoFundMe to Support New Album Due in 2021
Industrial Metal legends Fear Factory have announced their new album is in the works and will be released in 2021 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. They are trying to raise at least $25k USD for the process. Read the band’s message to fans to support the process of finishing a new album, taking into account the global downturn in 2021. Atmospheric synth-driven Gothic metal band Ascension of the Watchers, featuring Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell, will release their second full-length album Apocrypha globally on October 9, via Dissonance Productions. The recording will be available on cd, two limited vinyl formats, and through all major digital outlets. Formed in 2002 in rural Pennsylvania with a friend and musical confidant John Bechdel, the band created their 2004 debut, Ascension of The Watchers independently released – Iconoclast, printed only on cd and vinyl to a limited number.Now in 2020, renowned UK solo artist Jayce Lewis and Burton brought in the essential camaraderie, talents and studio that perfectly suited the recording of Apocrypha.Continue reading
Fear Factory Released The Genre Smashing Album “Demanufacture” 25 Years Ago!
Many times in music journalism, we writers are given to hyperbole, often because it is the low hanging fruit of the field to gush about the classics with a torrent of compliments. You often read words like genre-defying, and frankly, a lot of the time they don’t land as they are meant to. However, in the case of the entire career of Fear Factory and certainty of the album Demanufacture (Roadrunner Records), the words can never do proper justice to the music. Fear Factory Drops Clues About 2020 Release and New Name
Thanks to social media posts, some well-placed sources, and a newly published report over at MetalInsider.net, we may finally get new music from Fear Factory in 2020. However, it may not be under the Fear Factory moniker as we know it. Dino Cazares has been posting to social media a lot lately, hinting at a new album while stating, Fear Factory is not coming back. Confused? Us too! MetalSucks reported on the ongoing lawsuit and continuing issues between Dino, Burton C. Bell, and former members/name and IP owners Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde-Wohlbers (Powerflo). You can read about that here. Dino has been tagging his numerous recent posts with #fearcampaign and monolith. ‘Fear Campaign’ is, of course, a FF song and Monolith is the name vocalist Bell said previously is the definitive title of the new album in a post earlier this year, in a story broken by Ghost Cult. Recently our site interviewed drummer Mike Heller’s band Malignancy and they basically said Mike can’t tour or finish their new album because he is booked solid for Fear Factory in 2020. Burton C. Bell Announces New Fear Factory Album – “Monolith”
The new Fear Factory album is due later in 2019 and is called Monolith via Nuclear Blast. In a new interview between frontman Burton C. Bell and SiriusXM’s Jose Mangin just posted from this past November’s inaugural Headbangers Con in Portland, Oregon. Bell said “Fear Factory, we have a new record. It’s done. It’s delivered to the label. And we’ve got some technical difficulties, and once that’s finished, the record’s gonna come out. It’s gonna be called ‘Monolith’. It’s a great record.” The new Fear Factory album will be their first since 2015’s Genexus. We’ll have more details as they are announced.Continue reading
