CONCERT REVIEW: Cartilage – Unidad Trauma – Form Decay Live at Eli’s Mile High Club

As the night starts getting late at Eli’s Mile High Club, people start flooding into the floor area from the bar to see local band Form Decay. With their short fast fast-paced set with very minimal breaks between songs, they just start their upcoming songs. Feo Berumen’s non-stop movement along the stage with several fans headbanging up close. Drummer Amar Khalasi’s non-stop jamming along with the guitarists Andre Toledo and Aakash Khalasi, making it feel more personal. The bassist Ian Deaderick also provided backup vocals. CONCERT REVIEW: SepticFlesh – Vltimas – Stormruler – SIGLOS Live at DNA Lounge

In terms of a normal year for me, this has been anything but normal for attending concerts so far. This is actually been a good change. I decided for my health mental and physical well-being that I need to do less concert and Festival-going than in the past. Five years ago, I might have been at a show 6 days a week when I lived in Brooklyn. Now I’m down to a few every few months. Even though I do suffer from some fomo, I am picking and choosing my spots of when to make an appearance in the local scene here. We’ll see if it keeps up. CONCERT REVIEW: Goatwhore – Thantifaxath – Vitriol Live at 1720

Los Angeles has various places for hosting shows, whether it’s big or in the unexpected areas, which is where 1720 is located not far from Skid Row. A warehouse where it’s spacious and always has hosted mixture of artists, and bands, and its environment of fans is very welcoming. Continue reading →
