Full disclosure there is in no way I can present an unbiased opinion about Roadburn. This is my seventh straight year and I’m gifted a much greater amount of privilege than the average attendee. I’ve earned lifelong friendships. It’s become more than just a music festival for me. It’s a second home for five days out of every year. I’m allowed to work alongside other extremely talented and hard-working photographers and for a limited time at the beginning of every set I’m granted the best spot in the house. Goatwhore Book Headlining North American Tour Dates
Continuing their live campaign in support of their 2022 Metal Blade Records album, Angels Hung From The Arches Of Heaven, Goatwhore have announced an extensive North American headlining tour this August/September. The run begins August 09th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and runs through September 30th in Pensacola, Florida. The band will also play Full Terror Assault, Illinois and Metal Injection Fest, New York. Imperial Triumphant Streaming Abysaal Gods In Entirety
New York black metallers Imperial Triumphant is streaming their new album Abyssal Gods, out in North America on March 10, 2015 via Aural Music/Code666, in its entirety here.
Captured at Solitude Studios in Pennsylvania and Amy Mills Studios (Couch Slut, Epistasis) in New York and mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Nader Sadek, Atheist, Origin etc.) at Menegroth, The Thousand Caves, also in New York, Abyssal Gods channels its ire through ten harrowing hymns of meticulously-composed black-torn mayhem bedecked in angular riff invasions, bestial vocal tirades, dissonant atmospheres and an overall air of dread, disease and looming disaster. The record includes guest choral chants from Bloody Panda‘s Yoshiko Ohara as well as male choral vocals by RK Halvørson in the track ‘Krokodi’ (sung completely in Russian).
Imperial Triumphant will be doing a two week run of dates with Canadian black metal heathens, Thantifaxath.

The band’s second full-length was tracked at Solitude Studios in Pennsylvania and Amy Mills Studios (Couch Slut, Epistasis) in New York , mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Nader Sadek, Atheist, Origin etc.) at Menegroth, The Thousand Caves in New York and boasts the apocalyptic cover craftings of Andrew Tremblay (Deadbots, Downlow’d, Deathface etc.). Focused on urban decay and the impending extinction of mankind, IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT’s Abyssal Gods boasts ten traumatic psalms of strategically-composed black-addled mayhem bedecked in angular riff invasions, bestial vocal tirades, dissonant atmospheres and an overall air of disease, dread and looming disaster.
