Decapitated and Septicflesh Book a Co-Headline Tour with Kataklysm and Allegaeon

This spring, Death Metal fans will be treated to an epic night of music on the ‘Cancel Culture Over North America 2024’ tour. Death metal paragons Decapitated and Symphonic death metallers Septicflesh are heading on a 30-day co-billing trek with melodic death metal syndicate and labelmates, Kataklysm as direct support. The tour will commence on April 16th in Santa Ana and will make stops in Atlanta, Toronto, and Minneapolis before concluding in Los Angeles on May 19th. Joining the bands as openers are technical melodic death metal band Allegaeon. Allegaeon Drop New “Inhumation” Single and Video as Ezra Haynes Permanently Returns

Colorado-based Allegaeon have released a new single and video in “Inhumation”. This one of two song recorded since the return of original vocalist, Ezra Haynes, and a resigning with Metal Blade Records. The single and its partner, “Iridescent”, were created with longtime producer Dave Otero. Check out the “Inhumation” video below.

FESTIVAL REVIEW: Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 Live at The Rave – Eagles Club

The Rave/Eagles Club is an acclaimed live entertainment complex located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is a one-of-a-kind spot to catch a heavy metal show. The multi-stage and multi-floor building has a fascinating history and many music groups consider playing there a “rite of passage” as performers. The Milwaukee Metal Fest was launched in 1987 by music enthusiast and promoter Jack Koshick, which became one of the most renowned festivals for the heavy genres in the 1990s and early 2000s. All the greats from Slayer to Meshuggah to the Misfits were all part of the impressive lineups throughout the years until it shut down in 2004. After being absent for nearly twenty years, the fest has been brought back to life by Hatebreed‘s Jamey Jasta. He bought the rights in 2022 and put together a fest to take place on Memorial Day weekend at The Rave with some of the scene’s biggest bands. Continue reading →


Jamey Jasta’s Milwaukee Metal Fest Adds Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens, and Pissing Razors

Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 has added a slew of new bands including Milwaukee Metal Fest Books Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens,  Pissing Razors, and many more. Machine Head is a particular coup for the fest since they rarely do festivals, and none in the USA for many, many years. Hatebreed frontman and podcaster Jamey Jasta purchased the rights to the fest name in 2022, the rebooted event will take place on Memorial Day Weekend at The Rave/Eagles club. Previously announced to head up the fest are Lamb of God, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Napalm Death, Dark Angel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Obituary, Shadows Fall, and many more will take part in the festival taking place Memorial Day Weekend 2023, May 25-27th,

Allegaeon Announces Extraterrestrial Takeover Tour Featuring Special Guests The Zenith Passage

Allegaeon is pleased to announce the Extraterrestrial Takeover Tour featuring special guests The Zenith Passage on select dates. The journey kicks off on May 13th in Denver, Colorado, and runs through May 25th in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This brief North American run of shows is punctuated by the band’s appearance at this year’s Modified Ghost Festival in Vancouver, British Columbia. The band continues to tour behind their 2022 album Damnum, out now via Metal Blade.

Originally set to feature a very different line-up, the Faces of Death Tour was forced to undergo an almost complete overhaul a few months ago when, for a variety of reasons, Archspire, Black Crown Initiate and To The Grave were all forced to withdraw. With their replacements announced in August, the show was back on with the three new supports eager to prove their worth.
