Watch Fan-Filmed Video of Slipknot Kicking Off Their 25th Anniversary Tour, New Masks, New Jumpsuits, Set-List and No Material Written After 1999 Played
Slipknot kicked off their 25th anniversary “Here Comes The Pain” tour tonight, Tuesday, August 6th, in Noblesville, Indiana at the Ruoff Music Center. As promised the band performed the entire self-titled debut album and only tracks released before 1999. Some of the tracks have not been performed in years, or in some cases, over two decades. The tour also marks the first full national tour dates with Eloy Casagrande on drums, and the unknown replacement for Craig Jones, who has retired. Vocalist Corey Taylor issued a statement prior to the show (as filmed by Joshua Toomey): “I’m going to give you a brief warning, nothing you are about to hear tonight was written before 1999.”

Capulet Fest Ticket Holders File a Class Action Lawsuit Against Capulet Entertainment
Following the disastrous events surrounding second annual Capulet Festival, and according to a published report from Lambgoat, a Class Action lawsuit has been filed against the festival. The lawsuit sees ticket holders taking legal action against event promoter Estevan Vega and his company, Capulet Entertainment. Following the festival’s cancellation of its third day, the departure of many bands, and venue change, attendees are seeking refunds for their ticket purchases. Many fans also lost travel, accommodations, and money associated with them. The lawsuit alleges that Capulet Entertainment engaged in deceptive advertising and made misleading representations of the event, ultimately failing to deliver on the promises made to ticket holders. As we previously reported, the Connecticut Attorney General has announced an investigation into Capulet Entertainment LLC.
