Obituary Announces Live Stream Series Next Month
Old-school Death Metal greats Obituary Announces a new live streaming concert series, beginning on October 17th! The series will include a variety of content including full-band performances of classic albums in full, rarities, and more. The first event features full performances of Slowly We Rot, Cause of Death, and rare classics! The first two streams will be live from the ESI Streaming Studio in Tampa, FL. The third stream will be broadcasted live from their recording studio in Gibsonton, FL. Tickets are on sale, including various bundles for all three concerts and exclusive merch at the link below.

Anathema Announces Their Indefinite Hiatus
Anathema has announced they are disbanding effective immediately. The band had booked and canceled several tours of what was to be a huge cycle for the band and they cited the difficulties during the global pandemic as the reason. They legendary post-Rock band leaves behind a legacy of incredible albums and unforgettable shows. Perhaps we will see them again someday. The band was working on new music for a 2021 release. Opeth Frontman Mikaël Åkerfeldt Pays Tribute to Lee Kerslake
Opeth frontman Mikaël Åkerfeldt, paid tribute to legendary Heavy Metal drummer Lee Kerslake, who died this past weekend at age 73. In a post on social media, Akerfelt talked lovingly about Lee, less so for his work in Ozzy Osbourne’s Blizzard of Ozz band, but specifically for his work in Uriah Heap’s classic 1970s era, from which the Opeth leader draws considerable influence.
