Foo Fighters Are Working on A New Album for 2020!


Right after sharing a surprise covers EP last week, Foo Fighters make news again, announcing they are working on a new album. During their set for Brazil’s Rock In Rio festival, Dave Grohl teased that the band was about to begin work on the follow-up to 2017’s Concrete and Gold. Dave Matthews Band and Weezer will headline the third annual Innings Festival, returning to Arizona’s Tempe Beach and Tempe Arts Park, February 29 – March 1, 2020. The amazing the two-day event brings together best in music and baseball, uniting fans and families with music nd sports legends in one event. The event will feature 18 artists on 2 stages, including performances from Portugal. The Man, Death Cab for Cutie, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, O.A.R. and more, as well as curated food vendors and fun family activities. Fans can look forward to numerous appearances by Major League Baseball greats including Jake Peavy, Bret Saberhagen, Miguel Montero, Aaron Rowand and more, as well as the return of Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster, an on-site talk show featuring MLB players and musicians on the lineup. On the back of the international hit covers of Toto songs ‘Africa’ and ‘Rosanna’, Weezer has released a full covers album of 1980s megahits, pop rock earworms, 1990s RnB track, and one classic metal song! They announced the release on social media. In addition to ‘Africa’, some of the more memorable tracks include A-Ha’s ‘Take On Me,’ Tears for Fears’ ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World,’ The Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’, Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Billie Jean’ and TLC’s No Scrubs’. Weezer is having a big year with their awesome cover of Toto’s 1980s classic ‘Africa’, which has become a cultural phenomenon. Now in a stroke of meta-levels of genius, watch the band as they parody their own first video ever, 1994s ‘The Sweater Song’, in the video for ‘Africa’.
