US atmospheric death metal band, Mortiferum, have been brought in to replace Sylvaine, after they withdrew from North Yorkshire’s Fortress Festival. Also appearing at the event are Triptykon, Wolves In The Throne Room, Panopticon, Blackbraid, Misþyrming, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, and more. Scarborough’s Fortress Festival has revealed ten more bands set to perform at the black metal event, June 01 – 02, 2024. Set to take place at the iconic Scarborough Spa in North Yorkshire, the festival has unveiled main stage headliners, Triptykon and Wolves in the Throne Room, and one second stage headliner, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber. Presented by District 19, Eindhoven Metal Meeting returns in December 2023 at the legendary venue Effenaar. The fest has added nine new bands: Wrang, Massive Assault, Cryptosis, Helleruin, Koldbrann, Mentors, Bodyfarm, Overkill, and Misþyrming. The bill now has 33 bands, but may add some more in time.
