The artist known as John-5 has had an impressive career playing behind David Lee Roth, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and most recently has become a permanent member of  Mötley Crüe. He didn’t find himself playing in these positions because he could support anyone but because he is an amazing guitar player in his own right. CONCERT REVIEW:  Fozzy – GFM – Krash Karma – The Nocturnal Affair: Live at The Gramercy Theatre


The Goth tinged band The Nocturnal Affair opened the night. Armed with the deep and beautiful vocals of Brendan Shane, They are a really heavy gloomy doom band that’s kind of hopeful. A weird mix, I know. Thanks to strong as hell wireless mic, Shane took to the crowd , from up in the seats and to the pit and back again!

Deicide – Origin – Jungle Rot – The Absence: Live at Gramercy Theatre


Legions of fans gathered under the scorching sun to witness a concert only fit for the gates of hell. On June 1st, the Overtures of Blasphemy tour made its stop in New York City as fans descended to a sold out Gramercy Theatre to witness the brutality of Death Metal legends, Deicide. Supporting the bill were the Disciples of Destruction – Origin, Jungle Rot, and The Absence. They gave a performance that was both unforgiving and unforgettable.
