As previously reported, Mayhem Festival will return as a single-destination event in Southern California on October 12, 2024. 23 bands will perform at the festival, which will be held at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California, where Mayhem first began. Bad Omens will headline, along with Parkway Drive, Architects, Jinjer, Poppy, Kittie, August Burns Red, and many more at the list below. 19 bands will perform at the festival for the first time and tickets are not on sale yet. Truth To Power, the documentary about the social justice movement started by System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian will make its world premiere at Cannes Virtual Market this week. The film is Executive Produced by Oscar® Nominee Joe Berlinger (Paradise Lost Trilogy, Somekind of Monster, Metallica Through The Never) and Live Nation Productions, the film offers exclusive access to the man behind the music, award-winning director/writer/producer Garin Hovannisian (“I Am Not Alone”) captures both intimate and historic public moments, including Serj’s role in inspiring the massive peaceful protests of 2018’s Velvet Revolution in his native Armenia which successfully ousted an oligarchic regime. System Of A Down Bassist Shavo Odadjian Still Thinks They Will Make Music Again
In the on-going he said – he said between members of System of A Down, bassist Shavo Odadjian believes the band will again make music someday.
