This year’s Rock For Ronnie Concert in the Park – benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund – is all set to kick off on Sunday afternoon, May 18, 2025, 11AM to 6PM. Hosted on the South Lawn adjacent to the Autry Museum of the West in Griffith Park, the event will be headlined by actor and heavy metal singer Sebastian Bach and his band. Dave Navarro’s Above Ground Charity Event Books a Rescheduled Date
Postponed in the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year, the fourth iteration of the benefit event, Above Ground, will now take place on Sunday, October 26 at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Beyond Extinction Drop New Single and Video for “Reverse Life Support” Featuring Dilan Alves (Harbinger)
Essex-based death metallers, Beyond Extinction, have just released their latest music video for “Reverse Life Support.” The single – featuring guest vocals from Harbinger‘s Dilan Alves – will also appear on the anniversary, deluxe box set of the band’s sophomore EP, Nothing More Wretched. Hellfekted, King Abyss, Regicide, and More Booked for Debut Moshin’ The Roof On Festival
Previously running as a yearly compilation to “loudly combat homelessness,” Moshin’ The Roof On takes to the stage on April 13th, 2024, with the inaugural Moshin’ The Roof On Festival (MTROFEST for short). The project, organised by UK Thrashers, now in collaboration with Derby, UK venue, The Hairy Dog and DC Sound Attack, raised over £6000 for the Shelter housing charity so far. The event has now announced its full lineup, with Hellfekted, King Abyss, Regicide, and others joining the 12 band bill, headlined by Elimination. Keep reading below for full details.
