Deftones Book The Neighbourhood, AFI, Bktherula, Converge, Jehnny Beth, Ladrones, Lip Critic, and Lustsickpuppy for Dia De Los Deftones 2026

Deftones has announced their 2026 edition of their one-day festival, Dia De Los Deftones! The event, which returned in 2022 for the first time since 2019, will take place on November 7, 2026 at Petco Park in San Diego. Joining the influential alt-metal outfit at this year’s event will be The Neighbourhood, Afi, Bktherula, Converge, Jehnny Beth, Ladrones, Lip Critic, and Lustsickpuppy. Pre-sales for the event will start tomorrow (Wednesday, June 24) at 10:00 a.m. PDT. The general onsale will begin this Friday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Those who have signed up for Deftones’ official newsletter will get first access to tickets and VIP packages.

Deftones Share a Music Video for “infinite source” – “Private Music” Out Now

Deftones have just dropped their highly anticipated tenth studio album, private music, today, August 22nd, 2025 via Warner Records. Read our review here. The album, their first in five years, with being this the longest gap between albums for the band since their 1995 debut, Adrenaline (Warner/Maverick Records). The band held a global live listening stream just hours before the album was released digitally worldwide. Deftones also have many listening parties scheduled throughout North America in participating record and music stores today with free merch. ALBUM REVIEW: Deftones – private music

Five years can seem like an eternity if one is a big enough fan of a band, and waiting half a decade for new music from Deftones has certainly had fans chomping at the bit. Deftones’ 2020 album Ohms (Reprise Records, review here) took on a heavy and reflective tone that mirrored the emotional distress of the pandemic and lockdown. Now, Deftones followers can rejoice, as the band have emerged with private music (via Reprise and Warner Records), with eleven tracks of silver lining to what’s been a tense 2025. Co-produced and recorded in California and Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Korn, Alice In Chains, Mastodon), who worked on 2010’s Diamond Eyes and 2012’s Koi No Yokan (both also Reprise/Warner).
