Ozzy Osbourne Forced To Cancel Remaining US Shows, Additional Surgery Pending


Ozzy Osbourne will have to cancel his remaining four shows on his current North American “No More Tours 2” run of dates. Following an additional evaluation from his doctors, Osbourne will likely require another surgery in the coming days to treat multiple infections in his right hand. The four canceled shows were originally scheduled as follows: Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California (October 6), Mattress Firm Amphitheatre in Chula Vista (October 9), the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (October 11) and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (October 13). The three California shows had previously been rescheduled following his initial prognosis from doctors. All four shows will be rescheduled for 2019. Sons of Apollo Perform Covers Of Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Van Halen And More At Concert For Future DVD


Sons of Apollo the supergroup of prog metal legends featuring members of Dream Theater, Guns N Roses Mr. Big, The Winery Dogs and Journey performed last weekend at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria for an upcoming CD, DVD and Blu-ray. The group performed two sets separated by an intermission — one “regular” set, and another that featured an orchestra and choir. They ran through a set list of their own originals from their debut Psychotic Symphony (InsideOut), as well as covers of Dream Theate, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Ozzy, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Rainbow and more! Ozzy Kicks Off Farewell Tour, Watch Fan-Filmed Footage


Blending his biggest hits from his solo career and a bit of Black Sabbath nostalgia, Ozzy Osbourne kicked off his farewell as a touring last night in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Stone Sour provides the direct support on all dates. Dubbed the “No More Tours 2” Tour, this is reportedly Ozzy’s final stint of long runs of concert dates, although like Sabbath he hasn’t ruled out one-off festival appearances and concerts in the future. He is adamantly not retiring and has wavered off and on about making new music. He also hinted at a future Ozzfest in New York City, but it appears there won’t be one in 2018.Continue reading


Ozzy Osbourne Gets First Win In Lawsuit Against AEG


According to published reports, a judge last week rejected a bid by AEG to stop Ozzy Osbourne from pursuing an antitrust lawsuit. Ozzy has alleged that AEG is using a practice called “block-booking” to force him to perform at the Staples Center in Los Angeles against his wishes. This is not a final or decisive move but is the first of many steps that will either lead to a dismissal, settlement or victory for either side. Continue reading

Death Metal legends Possessed are gearing up for a huge year in 2018. The band have been busy preparing a brand new album, due for release this year from Nuclear Blast Records, one of the most anticipated new albums for this year. Ghost Cult’s Keith Chachkes caught up with frontman Jeff Becerra at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest this past fall, where the band played a blistering set, blowing away the crowd.
