Anthrax Shares More Early Memories in Episode #3 of Their 40 for 40 Series

Anthrax has shared its third video in their series celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the band with their “Anthrax 40 for 40” series of videos. The third clip features the band’s thoughts of making their demo, going on their first tour, the release of Fistful of Metal (Megaforce), kicking out Dan Lilker and Neil Turbin, adding Frank Bello, and more!  The full schedule is below and will honor each album in chronological order from the beginning. The 11-week series will include video contributions from Chuck D, Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl, Dave Mustaine, Gary Holt, Gene Simmons, Henry Rollins, John Carpenter, Kerry King, Mike Patton, Nergal, Norman Reedus, Michael Poulsen, Rob Zombie, Robert Trujillo, Roger Miret, Darryl McDaniels (RUN DMC), Slash, Tom Morello and more. Behemoth Shares 20 Years Reissue of “Thelema 6”

Behemoth is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2000 album Thelema 6  (Avant-Garde Music), released on November 27th 2000, with a new deluxe vinyl reissue, and special merch drop. Thelema 6 was one of the band’s earlier albums focused more on Black Metal with a hint of the Death Metal style they would favor later on. Corey Taylor,  frontman of both Slipknot and Stone Sour has shared yet another new single from his highly anticipated solo album, CMFT, due out one month from today, October 2nd via Roadrunner Records, and released two singles already. He dropped his first two singles “CMFT Must Be Stopped” (featuring rappers Tech N9ne & Kid Bookie) and “Black Eyes Blue”. “Black Eyes Blue” has actually charted as a legit hit song. Extreme Metal legends Behemoth have announced ‘In Absentia Dei’, a groundbreaking immersive livestream spectacular which will broadcast on 5th September 2020 from a secret church location in Poland. The event will be streamed in high definition 4K, with an immersive experience option, allowing viewers to choose from 8 different camera angles in the multi-camera shoot or watch the ‘Director’s Cut’. Behemoth Are Teasing New Music and Visuals

Polish extreme metallers Behemoth are teasing new music and visuals, perhaps for a livestream or home video release across their socials. The band offered fans a new mailing list sign up, which offers fans an early look at the teaser that now went to their social networks. Previously their socials were dark for a short period of time, which is the new standard warning before a big reveal (see also Mastodon, Deftones). The band released a new EP, A Forest, digitally worldwide (with additional physical copies available for purchase) via Metal Blade earlier this year. It was their first new music (aside from a live album tour edition) since their acclaimed release, I Loved You At Your Darkest in 2018.
