Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Begins Recording His Second Solo Album

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has entered the studio to begin recording his second solo album. Producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax) is once again helming the recording. Slipknot is releasing their “lost” album this spring, and has heavy touring plans for this year, while Stone Sour is on an extended hiatus. Read our review of Corey’s last album CMFT, here. Corey Taylor Announces New Solo Heradline Dates with The Cherry Bombs

Slipknot and Stone Sour leader Corey Taylor has announced new ‘CMFTour’ summer 2021 tour dates. The new headline run will kick-off on August 6th at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV and will feature special guests The Cherry Bombs on all dates   Pre-sale tickets are available starting tomorrow, Wednesday June 23rd at 10:00AM PT with all remaining tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, June 25th at 10:00AM local time. Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour has shared a new music video for his unplugged version of his recent single – “Samantha’s Gone,” from his recent album CMFT (Roadrunner Records). The new single follows the full band version, and the music video was a celebrity-filled affair with  Tom Sandoval of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, actor Dean Cameron [Summer School, Ski School, Straight Outta Compton], Steel Panther, plus actor Greg Grunberg, Ace Von Johnson, Travis Miguel and Jonah Nimoy.

Corey Taylor Shares “Everybody Dies On My Birthday” Lyric Video

Corey Taylor is celebrating his 47th birthday today with the release of a new animated lyric video for his single, “Everybody Dies On My Birthday.”  The title refers to the deaths of John Lennon of The Beatles and Dimebag Darrell of Pantera who both died on this day. Corey has also shared a new coffee and limited edition merch drop! Corey’s solo album CMFT is out now via Roadrunner Records.
