Dave Navarro’s Above Ground Charity Event Books a Rescheduled Date
Postponed in the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year, the fourth iteration of the benefit event, Above Ground, will now take place on Sunday, October 26 at The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Started by Dave Navarro, Billy Morrison and manager Rick Canny, the event raises awareness and funds for mental health and suicide prevention. Find more information in the article below.

Bandcamp Announce California Wildfires Fundraiser This Week, Bandcamp Fridays to Continue in 2025
Bandcamp has responded to the devastating losses from the California Wildfire with a fundraiser. 100% of all proceeds from BC sales this Friday, February 7th, 2025 will go to MusiCares, with help from partners such as A2IM, Harman, Lagunitas, Roland, Shure, Victrola, and WIN. Mr. Bungle Teases Release to Benefit MusiCares Charity This Week
Mr. Bungle has been in the studio working on a new release, reportedly a re-recording of their 1986 demo The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny, plus new songs and covers the band performed at their February 2020 shows. Watch Norah Jones Cover “Patience” by Guns N Roses, Donates Money to Charity
Pop and Jazz singer Norah Jones has done some pretty amazing covers over the years, but none so perfect as her spine-tingling take on ‘Patience’ by Guns N Roses. Stuck at home due to self-quarantine from Coronavirus, Jones shared her piano and guitar cover to Twitter on Thursday 3/19/2020. She is also using the track to raise money for charity for both Feeding America and Musicares so that rules as well. You can watch/hear the cover and also donate in the link below. Jones’new album ones recently announced plans to release her new LP Pick Me Up Off the Floor, due out May 8th.
