Evan Rachel Wood’s Documentary “Phoenix Rising” About Being Abused by Marilyn Manson Debuts on HBO

After premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, Evan Rachel Wood’s documentary Phoenix Rising about enduring and ultimately surviving abuse from her former partner Marilyn Manson has made its debut on HBO. You can watch it on HBO and HBO Max. The film is an unflinching autobiographical look at Wood’s life, abuse she suffered at the hands of Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner), which included grooming her as a teenage,  rape, sexual abuse and torture, domestic violence, maniupulation, drug abuse, and self-ham (Manson). The film also follows Wood’s personal journey of recovery, uniting other survivors of his abuse, and getting The Phoenix Law passed to protect victims. Wood is also seeking YouTube to remiove the “Heart Shaped Glasses” video fron the social video network as she claims to have been drugged and raped during the filming. Manson is suing Wood and Illma Gore (both the filmmakers and current partners) for defamation, and has called the allegations against him “horrible distortions of reality.” Within hours after Wood announcing her allegations against him back on February 1st, 2020, Manson’s record label, Loma Vista Recordings (home to Ghost and Korn) dropped him from the label and vowed to stop promoting his current release. All of Manson’s music and merch was removed from the label website and webstore. He also lost his lucrative active gigs on TV and movies, and his agent of 25 years, Tony Ciulla, has dropped him.Continue reading →


UPDATED: Marilyn Manson Sues Evan Rachel Wood Over Abuse Allegations: “A Malicious Falsehood”

According to a published report from The Blast, Marilyn Manson has filed a lawsuit against actress Evan Rachel Wood over allegations of rape and sexual abuse.
Wood’s upcoming acclaimed documentary Phoenix Rising airs on HBO on March 15th. Wood alleged “coerced into a commercial sex act under false pretenses” while filming the 2007 music video for “Heart-Shaped Glasses” with her then-boyfriend Manson. Manson’s attorney Howard King later denied Wood’s allegations in a statement to People, claiming that the singer “did not have sex with Evan on that set, and she knows that is the truth.” In his lawsuit against Wood, Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, accused his ex-fiancée of intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, computer fraud, and impersonation over the Internet. Wood has alleged abuse from Manson and more than a dozen other victims have come forward, gone on record, promting the the Los Angeles Sheriff’s office to investigate Manson and raid his home, and for his music and film career to dry up, as well his sponsors, and dropped by his film/TV agent and record label. Manson has made repeated statements denying abuse claims of his victims. UPDATED: Manson has posted a statement commented on his lawsuit.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has Raided Marilyn Manson’s West Hollywood Home Raided in Sexual Assault Case

 According to Rolling Stone and Blabbermouth.net, Marilyn Manson’s West Hollywood home was raided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Monday. SVU  investigators searched Manson’s home for belongings in connection to the sexual assault allegations against him. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is currently conducting an investigation into Marilyn Manson following allegations stemming from, actress Evan Rachel Wood (HBO’s Westworld, True Blood) and at least 11 other women and others detailing years of horrific sexual abuse. The potential case the Sheriff’s office is building is regarding domestic violence claims by Wood and others. Manson has suffered the fallout from this with his music and acting career.

Rape Lawsuit Against Marilyn Manson Rejected by a Judge in California

According to a published report by Loudwire, An anonymous woman’s lawsuit against Marilyn Manson has been rejected by a California judge due to statute of limitations. ‘Jane Doe’ now has 20 days to file a new complaint against the musician. The anonymous female dated Manson back in 2011, when she claims she was raped by the singer. Her lawsuit alleges, “[Manson] lured plaintiff, a musician, into what was, at first, a consensual romantic relationship. A short time later, however, he raped Ms. Doe. He also subjected Ms. Doe to further degrading acts of sexual exploitation, manipulation, and psychological abuse.”

Marilyn Manson Pleads Not Guilty to Assault Charges in New Hampshire

According to a published report from the Assosciated Press and Blabbermouth.net, Marilyn Manson has has plead not guilty over charges in Guiliforfd, New Hampshire. Manson, a.k.a. Brian Warner, had turned himself in viturally, July 2 on the warrant in Los Angeles. Manson is charged with  assault from a videographer at his 2019 concert at the Bank Of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford and spitting and blowing his nose on her. Manson’s attorney filed the not guilty plea in Laconia District Court. A case status hearing has been scheduled for December 27. Manson was charged with two misdemeanour counts of simple assault. If convicted on the charges, Manson could face a jail sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $2,000.

Marilyn Manson Appears in Public with Kanye West, and Features on his New Album – “Donda”

According to published reports, disgraced rocker Marilyn Manson will appear on the new labum by rapper and pop star Kanye West. Manson appeared with West, and Da Baby last Thursday night (8/26/2021) at Soldier Field in Chicago for a listen ing party for West’s new album Donda. This is Manson’s first public activtiy following  the exposure by the LA Times in an expose, and the ongoing investigation into allegations stemming from actress Evan Rachel Wood (HBO’s Westworld, True Blood) and at least 11 other women and others detailing years of sexual abuse by The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The potential case the Sheriff’s office is building is regarding domestic violence claims by Wood and others has had major implications for his career. He has also had recent legal trouble in New Hampshire, stemming from charges against him from a 2019 incident. Manson has suffered the fallout from this with his music and acting career.

Marilyn Manson Turns Himself in to Authorities in New Hampshire on Assault Charges

According to a published report form TMZ, Marilyn Manson has turned himself in on an active arrest warrant out for him of Gilford, New Hampshire. Manson, a.k.a. Brian Warner, turned himself in last Friday (July 2) on the warrant in Los Angeles. Manson then went through the Los Angeles Police Department’s booking process before being released on personal recognizance bail. He has agreed to not commit any crimes while on release, not have any contact with the alleged victim, and to appear at all of his court hearings.Continue reading →


UPDATE: Marilyn Manson has Agreed to Turn Himself in to Authorities in New Hampshire on Assault/Spitting Charges

According to published reports, an agreement has been reached for Marilyn Manson to turn himself in on an active arrest warrant out of Gilford, New Hampshire, the town’s police chief said. Police Chief Anthony Bean Burpee said that under the agreement, Manson, whose legal name is Brian Hugh Warner, will turn himself in on the warrant in Los Angeles. An arraignment at Laconia District Court could be scheduled by mid-August, depending on when Manson turns himself in, Bean Burpee said. Manson is charged with simple assault and is accused of assaulting a videographer at a concert at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Aug. 18, 2019. Witnesses said Manson spit at the videographer’s camera several times. This legal trouble follows by the current case by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigating multiple allegations of sexual assault and abuse stemming from his former fiancee Evan Rachel Wood going public with allegations, among many others.
