Sad news as the singer with the golden voice known as “The Money Man”, Eddie Money has died after a brief bout with stage four esophageal cancer. He was 70 years old. Money whose career skyrocketed in the 1980s on the strength of hits such as ‘Baby Hold On,’ ‘Two Tickets to Paradise’, ‘Shakin’ and ‘Take Me Home Tonight’ was one of the most successful artists of the decade. Recently Money and his family starred in the reality TV show Real Money, which aired on AXS TV starting in April 2018. It chronicled his life at home and with his family, revealing his health struggles. The Third Annual “Ride For Ronnie” Motorcycle Rally and Concert took place earlier last month and raised $40,000 for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Attended by motorcycle enthusiasts and rockers by equal measure; bikers, bands, and fans young and old represented to raise money in memory for late heavy metal legend Ronnie James Dio of Black Sabbath, Heaven And Hell, and Rainbow fame, who passed away from Gastric Cancer in 2010. The accompanying music video features stunning aerial camera footage of Chicago created especially for this clip by noted drone technology innovator and cinematographer Kirk Tindel. The video is a stunning love letter to the skyline of Chicago.

Rather than smash up the studio, channeling the magic of “The Money Man” seemed more productive. The hook on this song is iron clad with one of the best second verses the mainstream has ever seen. I wanted to add something fresh to the arrangement without degrading the original piece, and the end result is fun as heck to play. Squad”
