Guns N’ Roses return to the road on a massive 2023 World Tour produced by Live Nation, headlining stadiums, festivals, and arenas throughout the summer and fall. The powerhouse rock band launch this jaunt on June 5 in Tel Aviv, Israel at Park Hayarkon and will continue across Europe through July 22, wrapping in Athens, Greece. The band will continue onto North America, starting on Saturday, August 5 in Moncton, NB at Medavie Blue Cross Stadium, and will visit historic venues across the country such as Fenway Park in Boston, MA on August 21 and Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL on August 24. The tour concludes in Vancouver, BC at BC Place on Monday, October 16. The now legendary project formed by longtime Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Dizzy Reed and Quiet Riot guitarist Alex Grossi, hit the studio to record a covers album that will be released later this year via Golden Robot Records. The band has used producer Alistair James who recently worked with Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, and Johnny Depp on the newest Hollywood Vampires album. After covering “Shakin’’ and “Rocks Off”, now they have shared thier Bowie cover, streaming everywhere!
In a brand new interview with Sweetwater’s Nick Bowcott, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash was has given fans an update on his other music projects including Guns N Roses! He responded (hear audio below, text transcribed by Blabbermouth.net): “I’ve been pretty much a homebody, but I’ve been back and forth between my studio in the house and doing a lot of writing and recording on my own. I’ve been jamming with Duff [McKagan, Guns N’ Roses bassist] and I’ve been jamming with Axl [Rose, Guns N’ Roses singer], and I’ve been doing stuff like that, so we’ve been getting some work done that way. But I haven’t been doing much else. I haven’t been doing any collaborations with the odd artists and whatnot. [I’m] basically just focusing on writing new music and recording demos and recording guitar stuff for Guns and whatnot.”
Slash, who is notorious for his road-warrior ways, also discussed what it has been like spending so much time at home without being able to perform live.
“It’s frustrating, because we would be on the road right now,” he said. “The whole [Guns N’ Roses] tour from March all the way through September is obviously canceled until next year. And then we don’t even know for sure what’s gonna happen next year. So that was frustrating. I had a cat who was really sick, and it was sort of a blessing that I was home to be there for her the whole time that she was sick. And I had to put her down, actually, a few days ago. But it would have been horrible if I had been gone and Meegan [Hodges, Slash’s girlfriend] was left to deal with it all on her own. So there was somewhat of a blessing there. And it’s been good to be with the kids and just to sort of be around. So those are the small blessings. So I try not to complain; I just sort of deal with it. The frustrating part about it was being home and doing nothing but house work for a couple of months.”

Due to overwhelming demand, Guns N Roses has had to add a second show in London next May. The new London date at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is scheduled for May 30 — one day after the previously announced concert at the same venue. A statement about the U.K. shows reads: “The event marks the first live music concert to be staged at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since the venue opened in April this year and the two nights will be the only dates that the band will be performing their enormous and beloved catalogue of hits in the U.K.” Tickets are on sale now through Live Nation.
