In its 10th year this summer, the brilliant and award-winning Arctangent Festival has once again well and truly delivered for its loyal, amazing audience. Following on from last months HUGE band announcement, today the summer event can reveal its final collection of acts playing in 2024. Heading up this announcement are one of the worlds greatest heavy bands to ever do it, Baroness, who will be playing ARCTANGENT for the very first time. An unmissable set, and surely now one of the most anticipated of the whole weekend. Joining them include stunning Bristol outfit Scaler (formerly Scalping), the mysterious and exciting New York band Imperial Triumphant, the musical collective A-Sun Amissa which is led by musician Richard Knox, and the psychedelic goth duo Gloom Index. the new bands, the full lineup, and the day by bay schedule so far. Arctangent Festival is closing in on a sellout for their comeback festival later this month. The fest has now added new acts such as Scalping, Famyne, Outlander, Sergeant Thunderhoof, Cryptic Shift, Ogives Big Band, to the weekend. The fest already features headliners Opeth, Cult of Luna, and TesseracT as headliners, and has now added the updated festival map and clashfinder for fans to make use of!

AWOOGA – Conduit
You think I’d have learned with Slugdge. That whole book/cover, band/band name thing is long established by now… So, let me start by saying loud and clear, judge Awooga by their band name maybe not at your peril, but most certainly at your immense loss. Because debut full-length Conduit (Rockosmos) is truly excellent ,and if every person that finds something of interest in the barrage of words I’m about to spew about them goes and checks them out, and passes on the name to a friend or two, we have a chance of getting this quite special new band the coverage they deserve.
