Swallow The Sun Featuring Ballet Finland to Perform “Plague of Butterflies” at 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise

In a groundbreaking event, Finnish Metal icons Swallow The Sun featuring the Avant-Garde Ballet Finland are set to present their collaborative performance, “Plague of Butterflies”, during 70000TONS OF METAL in 2025. This unique performance will make its World Premiere outside of Finland in January 2025, on board The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, with two separate presentations of the work occurring whilst on board. Sepultura, Emperor, Unleash The Archers, and More Booked for 70000Tons Of Metal – Public Sales Start This Week

The organizers of the 70000Tons Of Metal festival have announced the public sales for their 2025 edition will start Thursday, July 11th 2024 at 12PM EDT (9AM PDT, 18:00 CEST/17:00 GMT+1).​  The heavy metal cruise, featuring Sepultura, Emperor, Unleash The Archers, Decapitated, Hammerfall, Tankard, and more, sets sail from Miami, FL to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and back, taking place from January 30th to February 3rd, 2025. The 38th edition of Finnish metal festival, Nummirock, takes place in Kauhajoki, Finland, 19-22 June 2024. Crownshift (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom) Drop Single and Video for “A World Beyond Reach” and Reveal Album Details

Earlier this year, Finnish metal supergroup, Crownshift, shared their very first single, “If You Dare.” Now the band have announced their self-titled album (on which the track will appear) is due out on May 10th, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records. Crownshift (Nightwish, Children Of Bodom) Announce Debut Album, Signing to Nuclear Blast

Comprising of members coming from Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Wintersun, and Finntroll, new Finnish metal band, Crownshift have just signed to Nuclear Blast Records. They have also recently joined the roster of Till Dawn They Count Ltd management (Nightwish, Beast In Black, Sonata Arctica).
