Finnish melodic death metallers, Horizon Ignited, have unveiled their latest single, “Ashes,” featuring a guest appearance by Jaakko Mäntymaa (Marianas Rest). Accompanied by a music video, the song explores themes of destruction and renewal. It is the fourth preview from their upcoming album, Tides, due out on February 21, 2025. The 38th edition of Finnish metal festival, Nummirock, takes place in Kauhajoki, Finland, 19-22 June 2024. As well as a host of national bands, the organisers have invited a number of acts from abroad; Body Count (US), Kerry King (US), Thy Art Is Murder (AU), Suffocation (US), Eluveitie (CH), Blackbraid (US), The Halo Effect (SWE), Shadow of Intent (US), Rise of the Northstar (FRA), Mister Misery (SWE), Thrown (SWE), and Party Cannon (UK).
