Rock USA Festival Has Been Forced to Cancel Their 2020 Event Due To COVID-19

Rock USA  and its sister festival Country USA has been forced to cancel their 2020 events due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival, one of the biggest in the US, was to have celebrated its 10th-anniversary edition this summer, and was going to take place July 16-18 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Of the 40 bands and headliners and support acts included Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Rob Zombie (headlining for a 3rd straight year), Halestorm, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, Anthrax, Chevelle, Avtar, Feever333, Hellyeah, Steel Panther, Knocked Loose, Bad Wolves, Attila and more. Slipknot, Disturbed, Staind, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and More Booked for Rock Fest

Rock Fest has set most of its lineup, according to a report by The PRP. Slipknot, Disturbed, Staind, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and dozens of more bands will head the bill at the annual fest held near Cadott, WI from July 16th-18th. One direct support act to headliner Limp Bizkit is still pending for Saturday, July 18th. They will be revealed on January 24th.Continue reading →

Summer Slaughter, the longest-running, North American package metal tour gets underway next week at The Complex in Salt Lake City! Sponsored by Sumerian Records, the tour has just shared a teaser trailer to get you sufficiently hyped! Summer Slaughter 2019 features a triple headlining bill of Cattle Decapitation, Carnifex, and The Faceless along with Rivers of Nihil, Nekrogoblikon, Lorna Shore, and Brand of Sacrifice will support, along with the winner of Headbang for the Highway contest. The tour begins July 19th, running through August 14th, ending in Los Angeles. Chelsea Grin – Eternal Nightmare

If I had to take a stab at it, I’d say that Chelsea Grin falls somewhere between Emmure and Thy Art Is Murder on the Deathcore Richter scale. Lots of breakdowns triggered kick drums, and chugging guitar bits to please the ear gauged masses, with the occasional flash of serious technicality, are in order on new LP Eternal Nightmare (Rise). That shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who’s familiar with these Salt Laker’s past output, but the shame is that Eternal Nightmare could’ve been more.Continue reading →
