CONCERT REVIEW: Ill Niño – Drowning Pool – HED.PE – Evolution Empire: Live at The Gramercy Theater


 

I took a ride over to the Gramercy Theater in NYC to catch the Brothers In Arms tour featuring Drowning Pool and Ill Niño with support from HED.PE and Evolution Empire. While I have been long time fan of Drowning pool, this was my first time seeing them and any of the bands on this bill.

AFI Shares Previously Unreleased Single – “Caught”


AFI has shared the previously unreleased track “Caught” – recorded while the band was making their newest album, Bodies (Rise Records). AFI first shared the song with fans at the premiere of Where We Used To Meet, the brand new short film by Kes Glozier. The film features music from Bodies and storylines inspired by the song lyrics. Two intimate screenings were held at Brain Dead Studios in Los Angeles, CA on September 28, followed by a global livestream event on September 30. Haust Release New Album, Book South By Southwest Gig

Norway’s blackened hardcore punks Haust have released their fourth album Bodies, on the Fysisk Format Records label. They are playing South By South West festival next week on March 20th and announcing further US tour dates soon. The first single ‘Light’ can be streamed below:

 

Bodies is the first album from Haust with new guitarist Trond Mjøen (Haraball, Ulver). Guest appearnaces also include Henning Wisth of Okkultokrati and Milton Von Krogh (Pirate Love and producer of Årabrot, Okkultokrati).
