GayC/DC the hilarious and brilliant gay AC/DC tribute band will start their run of west coast dates tonight! Taking music and lyrics of “the worlds’ most heterosexual band” and flipping it on its ear, bathing it in a glimmering pink light and disco ball, and putting their own LGBTQ spin on the iconic band. The band kicks tour dates through the spring on March 12th at Maui Sugar Mill (Tarzana, CA). They are promising new music soon! Rob Zombie, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Mastodon, Gojira, Deftones, Steven Wilson, Chris Cornell (posthumously) and more are among the many bands nominated for the Rock and Metal portion of the 64th Grammy’s Awards, a.k.a. “The Grammy’s.” Typically the Rock and Metal awards are given out in the pre-televised portion of the show, but they are now live streamed. The Recording Academy will present the 2022 GRAMMY Awards on Mon, Jan. 31, on the CBS Television Network(opens in a new tab) and stream live and on demand on Paramount+ from 8–11:30 p.m. ET / 5–8:30 p.m. PT. Prior to the telecast, the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT/3:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel(opens in a new tab).

AC/DC’s Shares New Video for “Through The Mists Of Time”
AC/DC has shared a new music video for their track “Through The Mists Of Time” from their 2020 album, Power Up (read our review here) It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, giving the legendary rock band its third chart-topping album in their career. The clip is a rock and roll museum tour through an exhibition of the band’s incredible history. Based on a concept by guitarist Angus Young, director Najeeb Tarazi and creative director Josh Cheuse used footage shot by Clemens Habicht of each of the five bandmembers in five separate shoots around the world. They then enlisted Mathematic, a Paris-based visual effects studio, to combine all the elements so the band could take the stage together to perform the fan favorite from “Power Up”, almost one year to the day that the highly anticipated album was announced.
ALBUM REVIEW: Dirty Honey – Dirty Honey
In 2019 things were on the up for the independent LA quartet Dirty Honey; their debut single ‘When I’m Gone’ topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts, they toured with Alter Bridge, Guns n Roses, and The Who and sold out their first headline tour in the first two months of 2020 but then covid reared its ugly head put life on hold. Finally things are opening up again and their debut album Dirty Honey is out, and its sound is firmly rooted in 1970s rock.
AC/DC, Joe Cocker, and 45 Grave Songs Featured in season Finale of The Walking Dead
Astute viewers and music fans of The Walking Dead noticed some choice songs in the season 10 finale episode that just aired on April, 4th, 2021. Focusing on the backstory of villain/anti-hero Negan, songs heard included classic rock anthem “Back in Black” by AC/DC, all-time love song “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker, and the Punk rock song “Party Time” by 45 Grave, originally heard in the film Return of the Living Dead, the classic Zombie film. The series returns for season 11 in October 2021.
