Éohum Streaming Two New Songs Off Forthcoming Album

Montreal black doomers Éohum (pronounced ee-o-um) are streaming “Thus Spewed Thy Infectious Reign” and “Equatorial Rains,” off their upcoming debut album Revelations, Aurora Of An Epoch, due out April 7, 2015 via Mycelium Networks as a pay what you want release below.

Formed in 2010 from the mind of guitarist / writer Jeremy Perkins, Éohum brings together some of the most dark and groove oriented metals of heavy low end doom riffs to meet black metal atmospheres. With shredding guitar tones uplifted by the French horns plus a touch of clean breaks with beautiful lyrics and vocals, Éohum expand their style within the relentless drive that surround a new air, a new sound, an attempt to join forces with eco-awareness and spirit for their upcoming debut album, Revelations, Aurora Of An Epoch.

The release features a collective of musicians that includes guest vocals from Matt McGachy (Cryptopsy) (Tracks 3-4-5-7), Lana Edwards (Intro & Outro), Phillippe Rieder (Track 6), Nick Wybo (ex-Vinyl Hero) on drums, Annie Perreault on French horn/trumpet, Sylvain Dumont on guitar, James Heymans on bass and Perkins himself on guitar plus a live line up that includes drummer Simon Mackay (The Agonist) and vocalist Barrie Butler (ex : Tard).

From the frightened intensity of Catch Us For the Foxes and [A -> B] Life to the subdued and urgent Ten Stories, the band has truly created an album in their new LP that compliments and expands on their incredible 15 year existence. Sun and Sail Club Releasing The Great White Dope in Late April

Sun & Sail Club, the new band featuring Bob Balch (Fu Manchu), Scott Reeder (Fu Manchu, Smile), Scott Reeder (Kyuss, Fireball Ministry, The Obsessed) and Tony Adolescent (Adolescents) will be releasing their new album titled The Great White Dope in late April.

He owns and operates Die Crawling Studio, a state-of-the-art facility allowing him to track drums in a fully professional and highly efficient manner using the latest Toontrack Music products. The American Dream Died was produced by Madball singer Freddy Cricien and engineered, mixed and mastered by Paul Miner (H2O, Terror) and will be released April 7, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records. Salem’s Wounds contains 13 tracks recorded by Karyn together with Davide Tiso (Ephel Duath), Ross Dolan (Immolation), and Charlie Schmid (Vaura).

Salem’s Wounds was financed by fans via websites like Indiegogo/Etsy and was recorded at The Basement Recordings in North Carolina with producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist). Sumerian thrashing black metallers Melechesh is streaming a trailer for their newly released sixth album Enki, out via Nuclear Blast below. Enki was recorded in Greece by Giorgos Bokos (Rotting Christ) while Jonas Kjellgren (Immortal, Legion Of The Damned, Overkill, Hypocrisy) took care of the mixing and mastering in his renowned Black Lounge Studios in Sweden. Drums were recorded at Devasoundz Studio with Fotis Benardo (ex-Septicflesh, ex-Nightrage).

Guests on Enki include Max Cavalera (Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Killer Be Killed), Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) and Rob Caggiano (Volbeat, ex-Anthrax).

TesseracT Releasing Odyssey/Scala In May

UK prog metallers TerreracT will be releasing their first live audio/video concert Odyssey/Scala, on May 18, 2015 in Europe and May 19, 2015 in North America via Century Media Records. This package welcomes back Daniel Tompkins, who sang on the band’s One album.

Odyssey, the audio portion, was recorded live during various stops in the autumn of 2014 throughout Europe and Russia on the Altered State World Tour. Scala, the video portion, was filmed live on November 6th, 2014 at Scala, London, UK, A trailer for Odyssey/Scala can be seen below.
