After being on hiatus for a long time, Earthburner are finally ready to unveil their first music since their original EP. The band, numbering members of Broken Hope and Sanguisugabogg among their ranks, have shared their debut single, “Slaves To The Screen,” along with a 3D animated video by Andrea Mantelli Productions. The track, will appear on their first album, Permanent Dawn – featuring additional vocals from Mitch Harris (Napalm Death, Menace) – which is due out via the M-Theory Audio record label in 2024. Legendary Music Retailer Sam Ash to Close 18 More Stores
Music retail giant Sam Ash has announced they are closing 18 more stores across the country, including historic locations in Huntington, Long Island and Clearwater, Florida. The once iconic store founded in 1924 by Samuel Ash from Brooklyn, built a brand that took a few stores and created an empire, including the famous Musicians Row on 48th Street in Manhattan. The brand has seen increasingly tough times of late, including the death of long-time brand steward Sammy Ash, who was the acting COO until his death in September 2023. Continue reading
