Malfunction will be releasing their new album Fear of Failure this summer via Bridge Nine Records. The record was recorded at GCR Audio Recordings Studios with Jay Zubricky and mixed by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues) to mix and mastered at Audiosiege (Blacklisted, Integrity, Poison Idea).

Bent Life Signs With Bridge Nine Records

Lincoln, NE hardcore outfit Bent Life has signed with Bridge Nine Records, and are working on their full length recording debut for the label, out later in 2015. Stream “Nail In The Coffin” below.

They formed in 2010, and have previously released EPs on 6131 Records and Lost Time and toured with the likes of Bitter End, Naysayer, and Alpha & Omega among others. Playing a punishing brand of heavy hardcore in the vein of Merauder and Outburst, the band’s next release will be the two-song 7″, Cheat Death on May 1st on Bad Teeth Recordings.

The band is currently on tour with Expire, Rotting Out, Suburban Scum and Mizery.

Murder FM Signs With Famous Records

Texas modern rockers Murder FM have signed a recording deal with Famous Records, the new imprint founded by Will Hunt (drummer for Evanescence, Black Label Society, Dark New Day) and Music Industry veteran AJ Gallant. The band will be releasing their new album in Spring 2015, produced by Beau Hill.

“Murder FM have worked long and hard to get where we are, we never took no for an answer, we never gave up and we always stayed the course and believed in who we are as a band. We understood it’s a marathon, not a sprint and we took the time to grow as artists, as a band and as a brand. Burn Halo Releasing Wolves of War This Summer via eOne Music

California rock outfit Burn Halo, featuring former 18 Visions vocalist James Hart, has signed a worldwide deal with eOne Music and will release their new album Wolves of War later this summer. This will be their highly anticapted follow up to 2011’s Up From The Ashes. Stream the lyric video for “Wolves of War” here.

Arcturus Releasing Arcturian May 8th

Arcturus has signed with Prophecy Productions and will release their fifth full length studio album Arcturian on May 8, 2015.

According to a press release:

Arcturus are legend. Unparalleled in creativity, musicianship and artistic approach since their foundation days, mastermind Steinar “Sverd” Johnsen and his cosmic crew consisting of past and present members of bands like Ulver, Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar and Ved Buens Ende have been dancing their very own tightrope between genius and madness ever since. With each of their releases being an interstellar journey of its own, and always ahead of their time, Arcturus can justifiably be labelled as the epitome of avant-garde metal.

New Year’s Day is a band that encourages their fans to embrace something that is very hard to do in a forward-thinking digital trend era; to be themselves. The Anaheim, CA band was put on the map in 2013 with their last full-length record Victim to Villain, but It is safe to say they have been through hell and back. From near-death touring experiences to bad record label situations, all of their blood sweat and tears have built a band beyond buzz-worthy and ready to show off their best songs to date. Brooklyn hardcore punks Go Deep have signed with 6131 Records and will be releasing their forthcoming full length recordings this summer. The band has been making waves since the release of their 2013 EP, Counseling, with their unique brand of early 2000s influenced hardcore and thought provoking lyrics.

In the meantime, Go Deep will be touring in March, including select dates with labelmates Teen Death and an appearance at SXSW 2015.
