News + Tour: Unwritten Law Signs With Cybertracks + US Tour With Fenix TX
Veteran Southern California melodic punk outfit Unwritten Law has signed with Cyber Tracks, the LA based recording label owned by NOFX guitarist El Hefe and his wife Jen Abeyta. View their official signing statement here.
Jen Abeyta said:
“Words cannot express how blessed we are to have the opportunity to work with such a monumental artist like Unwritten Law. This upcoming acoustic album is so unique, I’ve never heard anything like it before.”
El Hefe adds:
“I’m very excited to release this new album with Unwritten Law. I’ve always respected Scotty as a singer, and I have to say this is the best I’ve heard him sing. He sounds hungry.”
Scott Russo commented on the signing:
“Put it this way: These days and at this stage of my career, I only want to work with people I respect. As artists, innovators, and honest human beings, I found that in Hefe and Jen. Their words, and what they’ve already done have overshadowed any label I’ve had the displeasure of working for thus far. I know in my heart this is the right place for myself and my band. They not only see my vision, but are willing to truly see it through. I’ve been done with this acoustic record for a year and was looking for the right home, with the right spirit to put it out. I’ve found my/our home and people. I can’t wait for you all to see exactly what the fuck I’ve been up to. UL and Cyber Tracks have something I honestly believe is different, special and definitely unexpected. Love from the Law.”
Wade Youman adds:
“Signing to Cyber Tracks is fucking great. Scott and I have been on almost every major label there is. Now, we’re in relationship with friends we trust, respect, and are on the same page with. We finally have the creative freedom that we wanted all along. Nanu nanu.”

Free Download: Dommin – Love You To Death
A lot of news on the Dommin front lately as the band has signed a new distribution deal for their new album Rise with German based Eternal Sound Records for European and UK.
They have a free download of their cover of Type O Negative’s ‘Love You To Death” which is available here.
Kristofer explains,
“This was an intimidating song to do. Being the gigantic Type O fan that I am, there was a very good chance that nothing would be able to live up to the song and the band I love so much. But I think bringing out the song’s most beautiful and epic aspects while not trying to compete in the arena of being heavy or distorted allowed me to create another version of the song that I think people will appreciate.”
The band has an upcoming live date:
Jan 16: The Sidewinder – Austin, TX

Our new album ‘Disconnect’ in my opinion is the strongest album we’ve recorded to date. Thank you Agonia for making this happen for us, and we look forward to the road ahead!”.
