Angela Gossow Says She is Not Returning to Arch Enemy as The Vocalist

After we reported Arch Enemy and former vocalist Angela Gossow seemed to be teasing a possible reunion across their social media last week, Gossow has confirmed she is not returning to the band, other than in her current role of management. In a joint social media post continuing the visuals from last week, Gossow commented, “It’s not ME! But thank you for all the love! I am really excited to be involved in this new chapter as the manager💪This is gonna CRUSH!”  Gossow retired from the band in 2014 and last recorded with them in 2011, is teasing a torch, a cryptic message and “2026.” This year marks the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album Wages of Sin, featuring Angela. Arch Enemy’s Michael Amott (guitar), Joey Concepcion (guitar), and Daniel Erlandsson (drums) are all tagged in the socials post, as is Gossow. Fans have been clamoring for Angela to return to the fold since the 2025 announcement that Alissa White-Gluz split from the band to go solo. The new video clip you can see below seems to have a female gloved hand picking up the microphone.  We’ll report more on this developing story soon. Continue reading →
