On August 10th OTTTO and Bastardane – both prominent groups within the modern hard rock scene – came to Chicago in light of their current Reconquest Tour. The two rock outfits are no strangers to touring together, as both bands played together the previous summer as well. OTTTO is a trio out of Venice Beach that features a style that combines thrash and funk with modern metal. Life is a Game (ORG) is their debut album. Perhaps the most notable member of the band is their bass player, Tye Trujillo, the son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo.
SUSPECT208 the group comprised of the songs of famous musicians has parted ways with its frontman Noah Weiland, the son of late Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland. The band, which includes drummer London Hudson (18-year-old son of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash) and 16-year-old bassist Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica bass player Robert Trujillo), shared a post a new vocalist.
