The Rumjacks to Drop a Deluxe Re-issue of Their Album “Dead Anthems” – On Tour Soon


Fresh off tour in the UK and Europe, Celtic punks, The Rumjacks, have just announced a deluxe edition of their new album, Dead Anthems, coming May 30th via Four Four records. It features 6 bonus tracks including unreleased demo versions of  “Scandal” and “Some Legends Never Die,” along with live acoustic versions of “Cold Like This,” “Eye For An Eye,” “October,” and “They Kick You When You’re Down.” They kick off a North American summer tour in June, including the Red Bridge Festival in Pont-Rouge, and mid-west and east coast US dates. Another bumper 2000trees Festival announcement today (Thursday 7th March), the final one for the 2024 event, with the 3rd and final main stage headliner, as well as a host of some of the finest acts, artists and bands playing across all of the events six+ stages. The 3rd main stage headliner for 2024 will be British rock outfit Don Broco (their only live show of 2024), who have had radio A-list singles, sold out arenas and most recently, a UK number 1 album with ‘Amazing Things’ in 2021. This will be the Bedford 4-pieces first ever appearance at 2000trees, and one that will for sure live long in the memory. Also announced today includes 2000trees royalty and all round legend, punk rock troubadour Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, in the mix for most exciting UK bands around (and also a fully-fledged 2000trees hero) Bob Vylan, one of the most talked about bands in the world right now Wargasm, the stunning Welsh indie band Los Campesinos! (who are playing their first outdoor festival since 2014 at 2000trees), and following on from their 2000trees debut last year, returning rock royalty in Empire State Bastard. CONCERT REVIEW: Dropkick Murphys – Jim Lindberg – The Rumjacks – Jesse Ahern Live at Roadrunner


St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Boston. We know this song and dance already, but let’s recap… green beer, parade, inevitable bar fights, Dropkick Murphys show. But this time, there’s a twist to this weekend. The week leading up to the show also marked the grand opening of Boston’s newest concert venue, Roadrunner! Now, truth be told, I had to Google what the hell Roadrunner even was because I had never heard of it before. But let me tell you something… this may be my new favorite venue in the city.
