Bowl For Ronnie Celebrity Bowling Party and Charity Fundraiser To Take Place Next Month

The Annual Bowl For Ronnie Celebrity Bowling Party, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (, is set to return on Thursday, November 17, 2022 after a three-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event, to be held at PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City, California, will once again be hosted by television and radio personality Eddie Trunk, who is heard on SiriusXM’s Volume channel. The Bowl For Ronnie will feature a celebrity bowling tournament and a raffle drawing for prizes and memorabilia. The 2019 event sold out in advance and raised more than $50,000 for the cancer charity, which is now in its 13th year of raising awareness and much-needed funding for cancer research.

Psycho Las Vegas 2017: Live At the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino, Las Vegas

Before you sink your teeth into this, let me make a quick disclaimer for those of you looking for a standard review. This ain’t it. If you want to read, ad nauseam, about each band that played, who was good, who wasn’t, what songs they played or how many bands are “female fronted,” have female members or where any of these bands are from I can guarantee you a quick internet search will get you your fix somewhere. If you are looking for someone to tell you what any of the bands sound like, look like or act like then here is a novel idea, buy their music, go to a show and form an opinion for yourself. No offense intended to anyone writing something like that or looking for that kind of thing but you won’t find it here because I don’t feel like writing something everyone else has or will. (Offense intended to anyone still finding some ridiculous need to write or read about bands being “female fronted.” Fuck off.)

Aggression Appearing At 2015 ‘Defenders Of The Old Festival’


Aggression has reunited around founding guitarist Denis “Sasquatch” Barthe selecting players for their appearance at the 2015 Defenders of The Old Festival on March 13 and 14, 2015 at The Old Festival in Brooklyn, NY. The band will feature vocalist Brian Langley (Infernal Majesty), bassist Darin Wall, guitarist Dave Watson (Entropia), and drummer Ryan Murray Idris (Expain).

This will be Aggression’s first show since 2005, where they reunited at the Montreal Metal Massacre fest and unleashed their un-released 1986 album ‘Forgotten Skeleton’.
