Baroness does a small venue tour, it feels more connected to their base, and there is nothing better than seeing one of your favorite bands in an intimate room, singing along with a packed crowd. If you were a fan of early Baroness, this was your tour to see them play both Red and Blue Album (both released on Release Records) front to back. Many songs and interludes have never been performed live before.

Brooklyn New York Metal and Hardcore Venue The Kingsland Has Apparently Closed
Just weeks after the final confirmation that Saint Vitus Bar has closed for good, we are hearing that the long-running venue and bar The Kingsland has hosted its last show ever and closed for good. We heard rumors for months the venue was going dark, but we do not have an official confirmation as of yet. Several people connected to the venue and booking agents The Kingsland Presents team, and reliable figures in the music booking scene in New York City have started posting to social media that The Kingsland is over, at least in its current location. The venue survived many hardships, especial;ly during the closure over the COVID-19 global pandemic. The Kingsland Presents continues to host shows at the sister venues The Brooklyn Monarch, and The Meadows, and elsewhere in New York City. The Kingsland hosted countless internationally known Metal, Hardcore, and other types of music artists, hosting industry events and parties, while serving as a local bar to many. Ghost Cult covered many shows in the venue over the years and conducted a bunch of interviews there. We’ll continue to track this story and bring you more news as we have it. Continue reading
