Testament Announces Remastered Reissue of “Practice What You Preach” – Tour Dates with Overkill and Destruction This Week

Iconic Bay Area thrash band Testament has announced the upcoming remastered reissue of their coveted 1989 album, Practice What You Preach, on May 8th via Nuclear Blast Records. The Practice What You Preach (2026 Remaster) reissue was remastered by Justin Shturtz at Sterling Sound. It will be available digitally and 180G vinyl on Yellow and Orange Swirl with Black Splatter (limited to 1250 worldwide) and is packaged with brand new artwork from Bill Benson (who also designed the original cover art), a 20pg booklet showcasing old photos and documents provided by Chuck Billy and Eric Peterson of the band, and newly provided liner notes. Metal Allegiance (ft. Testament, Alice In Chains, and Dream Theater Members) Shares a New Single and Video – “Black Horizon”

Trailblazing metal collective Metal Allegiance has returned with their brooding new single, “Black Horizon”. Their first release of original music since 2018, the song features roaring opening riffs from guitarist Alex Skolnick (Testament) and vocalist William DuVall’s (Alice In Chains) ominous howls, painting an apocalyptic scene. Mark Menghi (King Ultramega) on bass and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) on drums keep the dread looming low in the sky, ready to explode with ferocity at any moment. Systems fail, shadows fall, and the doomed cry for salvation in this desolate world. Gloomy, minimalistic verses bookend thunderous choruses, chronicling a desperate flight for survival.
