Riot Fest 2021 Adds Patti Smith, Alkaline Trio, The Flaming Lips and More

Riot Fest has made the final weekend additions to the 2021 event, kicking off September 19th, 2021, which will be the fest’s first-ever Thursday Preview Party. Patti Smith and Her Band and Alkaline Trio will join Thursday night, with additional sets from Joyce Manor (performing their self-titled 2011 debut), WDRL, and Kristeen Young. As for Sunday, The Flaming Lips will return to Riot Fest on Sunday, bringing the fest-favorites back to Douglass Park on September 19 to replace Pixies. Sunday attendees will also get into the Thursday Preview Party for free, with a host of freshly-announced perks included. Tickets are on sale now at the link below.

Super7 Toys to Release New Ghost Papa Nihil ReAction Figure

Aftershock Festival Adds the Original Misfits As the New Saturday Night Headliner

Aftershock, a festival part of the Danny Wimmer Presents family of events, has announced that The Original Misfits will be the new Saturday Night Headliner, following the departure of My Chemical Romance from the fest due to the pandemic. The original Misfits had booked a slew of arena shows and festival slots in North America from 2018 to 2020. Aftershock also features Metallica as the headliner the other two nights of the fest. Danny Wimmer Presents Announces Schedule for Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life, Welcome To Rockville, and Aftershock

The event lineup includes the return of fan favorites Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville, alongside the previously announced Aftershock,  and new to the DWP family, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Louder Than Life, the largest rock festival in America, will take place September 23-26, 2021 at  Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky and will be adding a  Thursday night celebration event to kick off the weekend.
